He has a strong background in information systems and communications, particularly in the specialisation of security, having spent his early career in the Army. His recent experience has been with the Police, Fire Service and Ambulance Service, both at strategic national level and also detailed IS/IT implementation with Constabulary, Brigade and Trust level.
