ImageFinally, search is fine when you know what you are looking for and have a couple of keywords to start you off.  However, if you want to explore a concept (e.g. telecoms service performance) keyword search be overwhelming.  To address this significant advances are being made in the automated categorisation of unstructured information.  Browsing by a hierarchy of categories that are relevant to the organisation is undoubtedly a better way to explore concepts.  It's the difference between going to Amazon to buy 'The da Vinci Code' and browsing the bestsellers, and then deciding to buy it.
