As one of the founding directors, Richard had 19 years Army experience in leading organisations with a focus on performance before coming into the consultancy business.  His early roles were in engineering logistics and officer training which developed through Staff College training and a MSc qualification into information systems and management roles at both project and strategic planning levels.  He has led organisations through business improvement programmes using quality management techniques and he has been a national UK Business Excellence Award assessor every other year since 1996 when he piloted the Business Excellence Model in the military environment.

Richard has a keen focus of designing practical solutions to real problems.  With wide-ranging skills from hardware design, software development, engineering and project management, training, organisational design and strategic programme portfolio management, he has the breadth of knowledge to address complex information problems across organisations.
